If your group has its heart set on Trail of Terror or Legends of Fear, your night is October 30. If the date matters more than the attraction, you have plenty of company on the 31st. Trying to have both is where plans fall apart.

Is Trail of Terror open on Halloween night 2026?
No. Trail of Terror closes on October 30. Legends of Fear, Haunt on Eden and Scarrybrooke Park also wrap up on the 30th. Attractions running on Halloween night itself include The Dark Manor, Fright Haven, Nightmare's Gate, Haunting at the Ridge and Phantom Fall Fest at Lake Compounce.
How far ahead should we book a party bus for Halloween?
For October 31, as far ahead as you can. Halloween weekend is the busiest night of the year for group transportation and a Saturday Halloween makes it tighter still. For other October weekends, three to four weeks is usually comfortable. Call 800-659-5466 and we will tell you straight what is still open.
Can you take a group from Connecticut to Salem for the day?
Yes, and it is one of our most popular October trips. Salem is roughly 2 to 2.5 hours from Hartford and 2.5 to 3 from North Haven, so plan on ten to twelve hours door to door. Parking in Salem during October is the reason most groups call us, and the street closures after the Halloween night finale make a confirmed pickup point genuinely valuable.
Can we add a bar or restaurant stop?
Absolutely, and most groups do. The haunt is rarely the whole night. Pregame somewhere local, or head out afterward to warm up and swap stories, without anyone counting drinks or hunting for a space. Tell us the stops when you book and we will build the timing around them.
What size vehicle do we need?
It depends on the attraction as much as the group. Several haunts move guests through in small clusters no matter how you arrive. Haunt on Eden caps entry at six people, Trail of Terror runs timed groups of 6 to 12, and Legends of Fear hayride wagons hold up to 32. A few Massachusetts venues set their own group thresholds, Factory of Terror from 15 people and Barrett's Haunted Mansion from 25, though those are the attractions' policies rather than ours. Do you handle multi-stop itineraries?
Yes. Multi-stop evenings are the norm in October, whether that is a haunt plus dinner, Twilight Village plus Tarrytown, or a crawl across several bars. The main constraint is timed entry, since most attractions now assign arrival windows, so we build the itinerary backward from your ticketed times.
